Emerging Professional III at WT Group AEC – Hoffman Estates, Illinois

Summary:

An Emerging Professional III is actively working towards licensure works under the direction of others and is responsible for projects’ technical design. This position provides full support through the entire project and reports directly to a Senior Project Architect / Principal.
Responsibilities:

• Under limited supervision, performs a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural design for projects of all sizes and complexity
• Performs analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies and design layouts
• Produces design drawings and construction documents from both markups / direction of others and independently.
Required Skills/Abilities:

• Design ability to sketch and model initial ideas
• Critical and abstract thinking relevant to the early stages of a building project
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with regards to peers and supervisors
• Team orientated
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Revit
Education:

• Professional degree in Architecture
• Minimum (6 or more) years’ related experience
