Linen Tech Supervisor at Healthcare Linen Services Group – Remote

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be able to take and follow direction.
2. Maintain acceptable body hygiene and appearance per employee Handbook and client location standards.
3. Stand for extended periods of time.
4. Physically able to lift, push, pull, bend, kneel, twist, and move rolling carts (up to 600+ lbs.) throughout the day, with ability to load linen above one’s head and from ground level to standing upright.
5. Physically able to collect and lift soiled bags throughout the facility.
6. Pack at a speed to complete 20+ exchange carts per day.
7. Distinguish between different linen items through touch and vision.
8. Able to complete duties accurately.
9. Must be able to read and write English and accurately perform simple mathematics
10. Must be punctual.
11. Must understand and observe all safety guidelines and recommendations.
12. Posses a Bachelor’s Degree or higher

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Reports to the Linen Utilization Manager
2. Delivers clean linen cart to all units
3. Builds carts for the following day
4. Complies with HLSG Linen Distribution policies and procedures
5. Maintains inventory records
6. Count and pack carts accurately with the needed quantities.
7. Fill out paperwork accurately.
8. Correctly use handheld device and upload information.
9. Keep work area/linen room clean and place additional empty carts in their proper place.
10. Creates and managers staff schedules
11. Supervises linen staff
12. Collect soiled linen from designated areas and set times.
13. Accomplish daily tasks at the time given by Management.
14. Order linen orders and communicate with the laundry plant.
