- Day shift | 40 hours
Here's What You Need
Registered Nurse (RN)
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (Required)
- BSN (Preferred)
- Minimum 1 year RN experience or completion of an RN Residency Program (Required)
- Operating Room experience in CVOR or Operating Room Specialty (Preferred)
- RN license upon hire (Required)
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Preferred upon hire)
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Requirements
- HS Diploma or Equivalent and:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program OR
- Employed as a Surgical Technologist prior to September 1, 2009 OR
- Graduate/completion of a military Surgical Technology program
- CST Specialist - Minimum 2 years recent surgical service experience, preferably robotics, cardiovascular/hearts, orthopedics, neurology (Required)
- CST - 1 year of CST Operating room experience
- CST Certification (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) (Required)
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
- LVN license accepted in alignment with Surgical Technology qualifications
What You Will Do
RN - Operating Room
- Deliver patient-centered care utilizing the Nursing Process
- Perform OR circulator duties and assessments
- Plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care throughout the surgical experience
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical staff to ensure safe outcomes
CST - Operating Room
- Assist the RN circulator in formulating and implementing the plan of care
- Prepare, organize, and maintain the sterile field
- Assist with peri-operative care for infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Ensure proper instrumentation and supplies are available for procedures
