Assistant Regional Director

CCA Florida is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as an Assistant Regional Director based in our Orlando office. Assistant Regional Director

Location: Orlando, FL
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week, with occasional overtime)
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

About the Role

CCA Florida is seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our team as an Assistant Regional Director based in our Orlando office. This is an entry-level position designed for someone looking to build a long-term career in the non-profit and outdoor industry, with a potential path for advancement into a Regional Director role.

This position plays a vital role in supporting events, membership engagement, and organizational operations that directly contribute to CCA Florida’s mission of marine conservation and advocacy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is passionate about fishing, conservation, and working with people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Regional Directors with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks
  • Support the Logistics Procurement & Inventory Manager, Regional Directors, and Director of Events and Membership in banquet and event planning, preparation, and execution
  • Assist with warehouse operations, including organization, inventory, and event materials management
  • Travel to and support CCA Florida banquets and events, including frequent overnight trips
  • Help ensure smooth execution of events and maintain a high standard of member and sponsor experience
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with a non-profit organization (volunteer or employee) preferred
  • Knowledge of or involvement with CCA or similar organizations preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles, including box trucks
