This role is centered on managing sourcing strategies and procurement activities for airline and cruise line accommodation and transport needs, including crew lodging and distressed passenger operations. You will be responsible for running RFP processes, negotiating hotel and transport agreements, and ensuring cost-effective and compliant solutions across global markets. The position requires strong analytical and market research capabilities to assess pricing, identify savings opportunities, and produce actionable insights. You will also build and maintain relationships with hotels, transport providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and high service quality. Working across multiple regions and projects, you will act as a key link between suppliers and airline clients. This is a dynamic, detail-oriented role combining sourcing expertise, negotiation, and global market coordination.
- Conduct market research, property analysis, and RFP execution for airline and cruise line accommodation and transport requirements.
- Analyze client needs for crew and distressed passenger operations and translate them into sourcing strategies.
- Negotiate hotel and transport rates, finalize contracts, and ensure compliance with client-specific requirements.
- Monitor market pricing trends, identify risks and opportunities, and develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Prepare pricing comparisons, market intelligence reports, and sourcing recommendations for internal and client review.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel chains, independent properties, and transport vendors globally.
- Ensure proper vetting of suppliers in line with client standards and contractual requirements.
- Support distressed passenger sourcing activities, including forecasting, communications, and port database management.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting, data updates, and seamless project execution.
- Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and operational accuracy.
- Strong understanding of the aviation and hospitality industries, preferably with exposure to airline sourcing or travel procurement.
- 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, contracting, or commercial roles within travel, hospitality, or related sectors.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive rates and favorable contract terms.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and financial acumen.
- Experience conducting market research, pricing analysis, and supplier evaluation.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
