Position Summary
The Account Executive, Client Services, REVELXP is responsible for ensuring the highest level of service success for all Reserve events, residing under the Premium Experiences division, including the highest level of event management success. This includes acquiring and fostering venue partner relationships, managing expenses, overseeing event staff operations and logistics, while maintaining accurate and organized client information. In addition, this role serves as the relationship manager for Premium Experiences client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Partners with the sales team as client conversations progress beyond the exploratory phase, providing strategic event planning expertise throughout the development process.
- Leads the ideation and curation of customized event packages, aligning program design with client objectives and experience goals.
- Develops and manages the comprehensive event budget, ensuring alignment with program scope and financial parameters.
- Serves as the primary relationship manager with the client and client liaison for all event-related questions and inquiries, providing clear guidance and consistent communication throughout the planning process. Responsible for maintaining client data in the company's NetSuite Customer Relationship Management system.
- Manages all client communications in alignment with company brand standards and expectations for service excellence.
- Facilitates regular planning calls with the client, maintaining alignment on timelines, deliverables, and key event details.
- Oversees the coordination and management of the event registration platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly attendee experience.
- Develops and executes a thoughtful gifting strategy aligned with the event experience and client objectives.
- Manages the event ticket inventory, ensuring proper allocation, tracking, and distribution.
- Coordinates all ground transportation logistics for attendees and program participants.
- Oversees accommodations planning and coordination, including hotels, private homes, and other lodging arrangements as required.
- Leads the identification and booking of talent and entertainment, ensuring alignment with the event vision and client expectations.
- Secures and coordinates all food and beverage elements in partnership with venues and vendors.
- Leads the development of a comprehensive run of show, outlining program flow and operational details for the full event timeframe.
- Oversees the on-site execution of the event, ensuring seamless delivery and an exceptional client and guest experience.
- Manages and directs the internal event team, ensuring clear roles, coordination, and accountability across all program elements.
- Oversees post-event client communication, separate from formal surveys, to reinforce relationships, capture feedback, and support long-term client engagement.
- Oversees the post-event survey process, ensuring feedback is captured to inform future program improvements.
- Provides execution assistance to Bowl games and CFP Events (i.e., check-in process for parties, hotel hospitality, etc.)
- Manages ground transportation needs and transportation logistics for Bowl games, if applicable and CFP. Manages all CFP hotel manifests to include rooming changes, additions and reductions, as well as internal room block.
- Develops and maintains the CFP client information website, ensuring all relevant event details, schedules, logistics, and resources are clearly communicated and readily accessible.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college.
- 5+ years managing hospitality events and/or account, client services.
- A passion and ability to lead and serve others, as this is a primary function of this position.
- Effective problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently and as a team -- be a self-starter and collaborative, depending on situation and client needs.
- Strong organization, communication, follow-up, and interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail.
- Able to develop and execute strategic plans that achieve both short- and long-term goals & objectives.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Experienced in managing numerous projects at once within a fast-paced environment; time management is key.
- Travel multiple times in most months (including some weekends and holidays) is to be anticipated.
- High level of initiative, specifically in the areas of company growth and process improvement.
- Demonstrates a high level of integrity, character, honesty, and commitment to excellence.
- Results-driven; willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish the goal.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
- Ability to manage and coach various levels of team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g. event materials, signage)
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
- Manual dexterity to handle event materials and technology
- Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor spaces
- Good visual acuity and attention to detail
- Ability to travel to event sites, including international, as needed
