Senior Investor Reporting Analyst

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Investor Reporting Analyst in the United States.

This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of investor reporting across a diverse portfolio of mortgage assets. You will play a key part in managing complex reporting cycles, reconciling financial data, and ensuring adherence to investor and regulatory requirements. Working in a fast-paced financial services environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong operational controls. The position offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in mortgage servicing and investor reporting systems while contributing to high-impact financial operations. Success in this role requires precision, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. It is ideal for professionals who thrive in detail-driven environments and want to make a measurable impact on financial reporting integrity.

Accountabilities:
  • Prepare and deliver accurate investor reports and remittances (daily, monthly, and interim) in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Reconcile actual loan activity against reported data, identifying and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
  • Validate loan resolution data and ensure correct adjustments for modifications, payoffs, and other servicing events.
  • Perform pool-to-security reconciliations, cash testing, and ensure accurate tracking of advances and fees.
  • Monitor custodial accounts, support bank reconciliations, and prevent overdrafts through proactive oversight.
  • Research and resolve reporting variances across multiple systems, including internal tools and investor portals.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, procedures, and audit-ready records for all reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth servicing transfers and reporting continuity.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in investor reporting and remitting, ideally within mortgage servicing environments.
  • Strong understanding of remittance methods such as Actual/Actual, Schedule/Schedule, and Schedule/Actual.
  • Hands-on experience with mortgage servicing systems (e.g., MSP) and related processes like payment processing and loan resolution.
  • Familiarity with GSE reporting standards (e.g., Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and market standards.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible leave options.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.
  • Life insurance and disability coverage.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options.
  • Employee Assistance Program for personal and professional support.
  • Fully remote work environment offering flexibility and work-life balance.
