Dining Room Attendant at Fairfield Mountains Property Owners – Lake Lure, North Carolina

Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure is seeking friendly and dependable candidates for the position of Dining Room Attendant. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized dining room while providing an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests.

Qualified candidates must be at least 16 years old and available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedules are based on business needs, with shifts potentially starting as early as 6:00 a.m. and ending as late as 11:00 p.m.

Essential Job Duties:

• Maintains cleanliness and neatness of dining rooms.
• Clean and prepare tables for guests.
• Set-up and break down tables, chairs, dance floor, audio/visual (AV) equipment, and all other items as needed.
• Sweep and vacuum floors in dining rooms.
• Removes trash and spills on the dining room floor.
• Prepares rolled silverware.
• Communicate, coordinate, and take direction from the Food & Beverage Captain, Dining Room Manager, and Food & Beverage Director.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to interact with members, guests, and coworkers.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to talk, hear and speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Must be able to endure long periods of sitting, standing or walking in a hot, humid environment.
• Will be occasionally required to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 15 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping and use hands and fingers to handle, or feel.
• Drive vehicle for performance of duties.
