Junior C++ Engineer at Latitude Inc – Baltimore, Maryland

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer with a focus on C++ development to support ongoing product development efforts. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow within a dynamic engineering environment.

Hands-on experience with C++ in real-world projects (academic or professional) is highly preferred.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems based on defined requirements
• Contribute to the design and development of new software solutions
• Support development of analytics, visualization, and data processing tools
• Integrate software across diverse systems and hardware platforms
• Test and debug software components, documenting results and resolving issues
• Participate in system design discussions, including software/hardware trade-offs and reuse of existing solutions

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 0–2 years of experience (internships or academic projects considered)
• Experience with C++ (strongly preferred); familiarity with Java or other object-oriented languages is a plus
• Exposure to software development through coursework, internships, or professional experience
• Interest in working on government, aerospace, or defense-related projects is a plus
