THE OPPORTUNITY

Gilmartin is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position as an We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill an Investor Relations Associate position. The successful candidate will work closely with senior Gilmartin executives to create materials to pitch and win new client business while managing existing day-to-day client engagements and with our internal team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Responsibilities:

Key member of functional client teams managing several deliverables including:
Creating and maintaining IR calendar for year – including investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and other major events
Contributing to quarterly earnings process – conference call logistics, drafting press releases, speaker scripts, Q&A materials, and presentation materials
Collecting and analyzing sell side estimates and maintain consensus model
Managing investor meetings and conference presentations, including logistics, background materials and the preparation of senior executives
Maintaining IR section of corporate website
Responding to investor inquiries; logging inquiries, maintain database of investor activities
Monitoring and compiling peer group research; following industry, competitor and customer developments and news flow including earnings calls and analyst days - communicating key takeaways to management teams
Preparing materials for Board of Directors and other internal audiences on investor relations activities, share ownership, and valuation as required
Participate in client meetings and calls
Assist with the preparation of presentation materials
Review and recommend content and updates for IR website
Travel, as needed, to investor conferences and meetings


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Strong analytical and writing skillsAbility and desire to work in a team environmentExcellent interpersonal and verbal skillsDetail oriented and able to multi-task with efficiencyKeen interest in or understanding of the equity marketsConfident and professional phone and e-mail communicationAbility to work independently and complete projects with limited supervisionStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint3+ years of work experienceBachelor’s Degree: Finance classes or Degree preferred
