About This Position
Founded in 1974, R&T Deposit Solutions is a privately held financial technology company based in New York City. A recognized leader in the administration of insured deposit programs, R&T serves over 350 banks and financial institutions with over $179* Billion in assets under administration (AUA).
In 2022, with the support of Estancia Capital Management, R&T acquired Total Financial Solutions, expanding its product offerings, increasing the depth of its management team and operational capabilities. In August 2023, R&T received a strategic investment from GTCR, which acquired a 50% equity stake. The investment by GTCR in R&T is intended to further support and sustain R&T’s high rate of growth in its expanded deposit insurance programs, while also investing in further strengthening leadership, governance, risk management, and technology infrastructure.

Position Summary:
The Sales Intern will support the Sales organization by assisting with prospect research, sales operations, enablement activities, and go-to-market initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to B2B financial services sales, sales technology, and revenue operations while developing core professional skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prospect and market research on banks, credit unions, and financial institutions
- Assist with account segmentation and territory analysis to support sales prioritization
- Help maintain and update CRM data (e.g., Salesforce) including accounts, contacts, and activities
- Support sales enablement efforts, including:
- Preparing sales decks, one-pagers, and battlecards
- Organizing competitive intelligence and market insights
- Analyze basic sales metrics and pipeline data to identify trends and opportunities
- Assist with outreach preparation (call lists, email personalization, event follow-ups)
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Client Services teams on cross-functional initiatives
- Support special projects related to process improvement, tools, or reporting
Required
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Analytics, or related field preferred)
- Strong interest in sales, finance, fintech, or business operations
- Analytical mindset with comfort working in Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience with data analysis, dashboards, or business reporting
- Prior internship or campus leadership experience

This is a paid internship. Interns are paid a range of $20-22 per hour. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is a hybrid internship based in Midtown Manhattan. The R&T Internship Program runs from approximately June 1, 2026 through August 7, 2026.
