Electrical Lead at Tomball Controls – Seguin, Texas

Core Responsibility:

· Installation of Mini Power Zone and wiring of all downstream receptacles, switches and controls.

· ­Ability to read build sheets.

· Ability to install buss bars and terminate wires.

· ­Installation of strut, EMT, connectors and fittings.

· Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical systems and equipment, replacing faulty components as needed

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead, mentor, and support Electrical staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

· Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to ensure team members meet operational standards and goals.

· Facilitate regular team meetings to communicate priorities, updates, and safety protocols.

· Manage procurement activities, including vendor selection, cost control, and quality assurance.

· Identify and implement process improvements to streamline Electrical operations.

· Apply lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance productivity and workflow.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process changes.

· Ensure Electrical activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

· Promote a safe working environment through regular audits, training, and corrective actions.

· Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.

· All other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

· 3+ years’ experience in commercial electrical field, required.

· Journeyman License is NOT required.

· ­Mechanical ability to assemble technical products to a build sheet.

· ­Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· ­Ability to function well in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.

· ­Familiarity with electrical parts and fittings, required.

Preferred Qualifications:

· ­Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.

· Bluebeam & Procore Software a plus.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· ­Prolonged periods of standing and walking through production facilities.

· ­Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

· ­Regularly required to be exposed to outdoor elements.

· Non-climate-controlled environment
