Primary Responsibilities/ Tasks:

  • Greet, monitor, and track all visitors and students, ensuring the safety, security, and professional appearance of the front desk.
  • Conduct ongoing, proactive outreach to recruit new youth participants and families, including engagement with schools, community organizations, and local events to promote programs and increase membership.
  • Guide prospective participants through site tours, program overviews, eligibility requirements, and benefits to support enrollment and familiarity with programs and services.
  • Share information about upcoming events and activities to students, parents, and the public. Maintain updated bulletin boards with relevant notices and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and monthly reports required for program support and grant compliance, ensuring all information is up-to-date across multiple platforms, primarily Salesforce.
  • Ensure all operational, informational, and data-related deadlines are met.
  • Plan and implement structured orientation programs for newly enrolled students.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement youth programs and activities at the Teen Center, including maintaining daily attendance records, managing supplies, and keeping detailed inventory lists of all materials and equipment.
  • Foster ongoing engagement by encouraging youth participation and maintaining positive relationships with participants and families.
  • Respond to and follow up on incidents, providing appropriate support in crisis situations involving youth.
  • Collaborate with staff to deliver educational, social, athletic, and recreational programming aligned with participant goals.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with staff regarding participant progress and needs.
  • Assist with program transportation needs and participate in professional development training.
  • Present yourself as a positive role model for youth.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

· High School diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

· Must have at least one year of experience in managing and tracking data, with demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce.

· Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

· Excellent communication and phone skills are essential.

· Must be timely and accurate with assigned projects, demonstrating strong organizational skills.

· Ability to perform duties without direct supervision and manage repetitive tasks according to set procedures.

· Must maintain strict confidentiality of all information.

· Will be required to undergo and successfully pass a background check.

· Comfortable working with children and adults in a fast-paced, professional environment.

· Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a van if needed.

· Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or another language commonly spoken in the community is preferred, but not require.
