Job Description
Remote Lead Electrical Design Engineer
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Designer - REMOTE. In this role, you will work closely within a project team to design, modify, and upgrade essential electrical systems in nuclear power plants. Your expertise will help ensure that projects meet rigorous safety and operational standards. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to critical projects that support sustainable energy solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage in technical challenges, shaping the future of nuclear engineering.
Accountabilities- Design and modify electrical systems for power plants.
- Develop single-line and relay diagrams.
- Produce wiring drawings and incorporate vendor designs.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplined project teams.
- Assist in field walkdowns and data gathering.
- Associate's Degree in drafting or equivalent technical design experience.
- 10+ years of detailed wiring design experience.
- Familiarity with digital control systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
- Strong communication skills to interface with engineering teams.
