This role is a key entry point into a high-impact People function, supporting employees and managers to ensure a consistent, engaging, and compliant workplace experience. You will work closely with experienced People Partners and HR leadership to deliver core HR programs, respond to employee needs, and help maintain strong day-to-day operations across the employee lifecycle. The position combines hands-on HR support with relationship-building, offering exposure to employee relations, onboarding, internal communications, and organizational processes. You will play an important role in fostering trust between employees and the People team while contributing to a positive, people-first culture. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their HR career who wants to grow in a fast-paced, media-driven environment. The role is remote within the United States and may include occasional travel.
You will support the People team in delivering a seamless employee experience by acting as a trusted first point of contact for HR-related questions and ensuring smooth execution of core HR processes. You will also contribute to employee engagement, compliance, and operational excellence across the organization.
- Support the People Partner team in managing a designated employee population and handling day-to-day HR inquiries
- Serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers, escalating issues when appropriate
- Assist with core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, training coordination, and internal communications
- Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with employees and managers through consistent communication and support
- Support employee relations processes including documentation, case intake, and follow-up activities in partnership with senior HR leaders
- Ensure accurate HR data management across systems and contribute to reporting and administrative tasks
- Apply a compliance-focused and confidential approach when handling sensitive employee matters

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 0–2+ years of HR experience or relevant internship/co-op exposure preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and documentation habits
- Ability to build relationships and support employees with empathy and a service-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools
- SHRM or PHR certification (or interest in pursuing) is a plus
- Competitive salary range: $60,000 – $70,000 USD annually
