We are presently searching for our next great team member as a Snow Groomer Supervisor to join our Alpine Operations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
* Safe and efficient operation of snow grooming equipment including a variety of snow cats and attachments, grading equipment and other heavy machinery.
* Assist in scheduling the groomer team and adjusting schedules to accommodate snow and operational conditions.
* Assist with assigning daily duties and organizing workflow.
* Assist in training and ongoing coaching of grooming team members.
* Ensure grooming provides an excellent experience for guests.
* Ensure all equipment is maintained and operated according to company standards.
* Keep workspace clean and organized.
* Assist in maintaining and cleaning of all snow grooming equipment and related machinery.
* Identify and report all maintenance requirements in a timely fashion.
* Assist in repairs and scheduled maintenance of equipment as required.
* Identify any maintenance or operational issues on runs and report to management.
* Assist with weather reports.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years experience with snow grooming or related machinery.
* Experience supervising a small team of skilled workers.
* Ability to follow directions while unsupervised.
* Ability to work late and overnight.
* Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
* Strong mechanical aptitude.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* A valid class 5 or equivalent driver’s license.
* Basic First Aid Certification (8hrs) or willingness to obtain one before the beginning of the season. Please note that MPR will be offering a First Aid course at no cost.
* Ski/Snowboard experience an asset.
* Ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, shoveling, and moving over 40lbs.
* Chainsaw experience an asset.
* Grooming being weather dependent, flexibility regarding shifts & schedule is required.
Closing Date: August 15, 2026
This is a seasonal position; you must be able to commit to the role for the full winter season (November-April).
