What You’ll Be Doing (Changing Daily Lives)
As a Life Skills Coach, you’ll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building independence, confidence, and a life they’re proud of.
Your days might include:
- Cooking up new recipes (or at least trying!)
- Tackling housekeeping together
- Supporting self-care routines
- Building communication and social skills
- Helping set—and crush—personal goals
- Exploring hobbies, activities, and new interests
You’ll also help with:
- Personal care
- Getting out and about in the community
- Health-related needs
- Grocery shopping adventures
- Creating a meaningful, fulfilling daily life

What You Bring
- Patience, compassion, and strong communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure (you’ve got this)
- Reliability and solid time management
- Basic life skills (cleaning, cooking, laundry—you know the drill)
- Ability to lift 75–100 lbs

Requirements:- Minimum -High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Motor vehicle Record
- Safe insured/ registered vehicle
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
