We are looking for a Camp Counselor!

New Mexico Sports & Wellness is Albuquerque's leading upscale athletic, aquatics, tennis, and family fitness club, with 5 convenient locations. Our clubs support the lifestyles of busy professionals, families, health enthusiasts and those who simply strive to be more active by providing a wide spectrum of unique fitness and wellness services.

What our Camp Counselors are all about:
Our After Care Associates provide exceptional care for school age children after school hours. They take pride in being a positive role model while assisting with group games and the supervision of homework, swimming, and various gym activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Being detail-oriented and capable of making sure all proper childcare forms are completed by parents.
• A joy for working and engaging with children in a professional but cheerful manner.
• Previous experience caring for school aged children.
• Open to working the hours of M-F 4:00p – 7:00p and willing to be flexible when there are school closings or early dismissals.
• A patient and courteous demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with both parents and children.
• You are able to handle emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.

What you are all about:

• You have previous experience caring for school aged children.
• You are CPR certified for adults, children and infants.
• You are able to handle emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.
