Job Description

Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team of professionals in support of the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Warehouse Support Services (WSS) Program.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Provide warehouse logistics support, including receiving, shipping, storing (stowing), selecting (picking), supply turn-in (disposal), packing, unpacking, and inventory of general and specialized materials and equipment.
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), forklifts, and other Government-provided equipment to support warehouse, container, and equipment movement operations.

  • Support the inspection, inventory, maintenance coordination, and readiness of Civil Engineering Equipment (CEE), Civil Engineer Support Equipment (CESE), shelters, containers, and expeditionary tool kits in support of EXMEDS programs.
  • Conduct scheduled equipment inspections and support quarterly completion requirements to maintain annual CEE inspection compliance.
  • Perform pre-use and post-use inspections of NTVE and MHE assets to verify safe operating conditions, identify damage, confirm presence of basic issue equipment, and initiate accident reporting as required.
  • Prepare CESE and other Government equipment for shipment by air or surface, including fueling/defueling, mobile load preparation, securing loads, washing, staging, and shipping documentation.
  • Annotate and track starting and ending mileage, equipment usage, and daily operational status in dispatch and asset tracking logs.
  • Support daily dispatch and scheduling operations for Government-provided NTVE and MHE equipment, including coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment readiness by supporting cleaning, testing, inspections, inventory updates, minor maintenance, and repair coordination for assigned assets.
  • Support tool kit and assembly management, including inventory verification, seal log maintenance, tamper inspections, and maintaining kits in Ready for Issue (RFI) condition.
  • Update required inventory, condition code, and location data in DMLSS, HIMS, or other Government-directed systems.
  • Comply with applicable DoD, NAVFAC, DOT, and Government safety and vehicle management regulations.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
  • Must be able to operate vehicles and equipment up to 80,000 lbs.
  • Prior experience supporting warehouse, logistics, material handling, and Government equipment movement operations is highly preferred.
  • Previous United States military service experience is a HUGE PLUS.

Additional Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A endorsement, with standard transmission and trailer endorsement.  
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain certification to operate a 4K–30K forklift.
  • Must be able to safely operate Government-provided heavy equipment, forklifts, and other material handling equipment (MHE).
  • Must be able to work in warehouse, equipment yard, container yard, and outdoor operational environments as required.
  • Must be able to lift, move, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Mustbe able to read and interpret equipment records, shipping documents, inventory logs, and safety procedures.

Clearance

  • Must be a United States Citizen
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation (minimum T-1/NACI)
