About the Role:

The Engineer Grounds position is responsible for the development, and maintenance of outdoor environments to ensure they are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. This role involves overseeing landscaping projects, managing irrigation systems, and coordinating with contractors and vendors to maintain high standards of grounds upkeep. The successful candidate will apply engineering principles to optimize land use, drainage, and environmental sustainability. They will also conduct regular inspections and implement improvements to enhance the durability and appearance of the grounds. Ultimately, this role ensures that all outdoor spaces meet organizational needs and comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with grounds maintenance, landscaping, or civil engineering projects.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, drainage solutions, and environmental sustainability practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with project and beautification grounds keeping.
• Familiarity with environmental processes.
• Background in horticulture or landscape.
• Experience working in a facilities management or grounds environment.

Responsibilities:

• Upkeep of landscaping and grounds maintenance projects.
• Manage irrigation and drainage systems to ensure efficient water use and prevent erosion.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Coordinate with vendors, and internal teams to schedule and oversee grounds work.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, project progress, and compliance with environmental regulations as requested and required.
