This Certified Surgical Tech/PCA/Unit Secretary is responsible for, under the direct or indirect supervision of a licensed physician, assessing patient’s surgical conditions, administering treatments under physician orders or in conformity with usual practice, assisting physician as directed intra-operatively. This privilege does not include the practice of obtaining informed consent.

Education: High school diploma/GED

Certification/Licensures: Certified Surgical Technician & BLS Healthcare Provider required

Experience: 1-3 years healthcare experience required
