Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at FCS Services. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and presentable facilities by performing routine cleaning tasks and following established company procedures and safety standards.

This is a part-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and can work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize floors, walls, windows, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces as needed.

Dust and polish furniture, surfaces, and equipment to maintain a clean and presentable environment.

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, dust, and debris.

Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops.

Restock restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste in designated areas.

Monitor cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when items need to be replenished.

Assist with floor care tasks, including buffing, waxing, and stripping floors, as directed.

Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions.

Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain assigned work areas and ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to company standards.

Report maintenance concerns, supply shortages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Perform other cleaning duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not required.

Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Dependable, punctual, and responsible.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Willingness to learn and follow company cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including bending, kneeling, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Must successfully complete any required pre-employment background check and drug screening.

SchedulePart-Time | Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Consistent weekday schedule with approximately 15 scheduled hours per week.

Pay Rate$18.00 per hour
