Inside Counter Sales/Yard Sales Associate - Part-Time at Woerner Turf & Landscape Supply Inc – Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Woerner Turf and Landscape Supply of Baton Rouge, The Baton Rouge area's leading Wholesale and Retail Landscape Supply Outlet is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales & Customer Service Counter Professional, to join our winning team!

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Proactively reaching out to potential and existing customers by phone, email, or online
• Responding to customer telephone inquiries
• Assisting online and walk-in customers in the selection of products based on their landscaping requirements.
• Product merchandising
• Receiving items into inventory and inventory management

Ideal candidate possesses:

• 3 – 4 years wholesale/retail sales experience, preferably within the landscape/garden supply/horticulture industry
• Knowledge of landscape supply products would be a plus.

Knowledge of sod varieties and a plus.

• High energy
• Well organized
• Detail-oriented
• Self-starter with excellent customer service skills
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus

Enhanced computer skills

Experience in the Landscape Industry preferred.

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday (Part-Time)
• Saturdays, as needed

License/Certification:

• Forklift Certification (Preferred, will train)
