PRN MRI Technologist - Radiology - MRI at Lima Memorial Health System – Lima, Ohio

Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, policies and procedures, the MRI Tech performs a variety of MRI procedures, both invasive and non-invasive, that may require independent judgment. May be required to assume additional responsibilities for designated duties as assigned by Lead Tech. Responsibilities include an on-call response time required within sixty (60) minutes.

Education: Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) accredited radiology technology program.

Licensure/Certification: Certified registered technologist of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology. ARRT registry in MRI strongly encouraged. BLS required.

Experience: MRI experience is preferred.

Skills: Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to exhibit patience and tact and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all situations with all constituents including patients, physicians and other associates. Must also demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes, be cooperative and collaborative, and have the documented ability to work with speed and proficiency while under stress. Performs a variety of MRI exams including neuro, abdomen, ortho and MRA exams. Must be well-versed in MRI safety.
