Position Summary

The Cabinet Maker is responsible for building, assembling, and finishing cabinetry and related components according to shop drawings and production specifications. This position requires strong woodworking skills, accuracy, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct and assemble cabinets, casework, and modular components
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and composite materials
  • Operate woodworking machinery including saws, routers, sanders, and drills
  • Install hardware, hinges, drawer systems, and finished components
  • Sand, adjust, and finish products to meet quality standards
  • Inspect completed work for accuracy and craftsmanship
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Meet daily production goals and timelines
Work Environment
  • Indoor manufacturing and woodworking shop
  • Exposure to machinery, wood dust, and fabrication materials
  • PPE required, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves

Requirements: Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of cabinet making, millwork, carpentry, or woodworking experience preferred
  • Experience operating woodworking tools and shop equipment
  • Ability to read tape measures and technical drawings accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly (team lift for heavier materials)
  • Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and material handling
