Position Summary

The Industrial Engineer - PLC/HMI Programmer will be responsible for various tasks related to the development and delivery of custom process and control automation solutions.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

Assist in the development of Project Functional Technical Specifications, Testing Documents, etc.

Develop HMI software applications

Develop PLC software programs

Interface with PLC control systems, database applications (SQL Server) and other data sources
Design Control Panels

Assist in the startup and commissioning of automation systems

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to define control system requirements.

Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to existing PLC and HMI systems.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements

Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, related field, or equivalent experience

3-5 years of experience in PLC and HMI programming.

In-depth knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.

Experience with various HMI and PLC platforms is required (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Industrial Automation, Automation Direct).

Excellent organizational and personal time management skills required

Strong analytical skills, as well as technical writing and oral communication skills
