Fitter at Tejas Production Services Inc – Victoria, Texas

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately perform work.

Perform cutting, laying out, fitting & tacking on ASME vessels and pipes.

Cut, thread, hammer pipes according to pipe system specifications.

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.

Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience with ASME Specifications

perform work accurately and thoroughly.

Use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.

Work and communicate well with others.

Preferred Experience:

2 years’ experience in related field

Physical Strain:

Be able to wear all required PPE (Personal protective equipment)

Subject to climbing/squatting/bending/kneeling

Heavy lifting and standing for extended periods of time.
