Position Summary
The Medical Assistant (MA) / Patient Access Representative provides clinical and administrative support in our outpatient clinics on an as-needed basis. This role requires professionalism, initiative, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
In this dual role, the MA/Patient Access Representative will:
- Assist providers during patient visits as needed
- Obtain and record vital signs
- Perform basic laboratory functions within scope of practice
- Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Work independently while maintaining integrity, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Perform patient registration and related access functions
- Deliver exceptional customer service to meet and exceed patient expectations
- Support safe, high-quality care and contribute to overall patient satisfaction

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Current BLS certification required
