This position reports directly to the Director of Business, Career & Technical Programs.
To be mindful of the philosophy and objectives of the College and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring, and teaching courses.
Deliver engaging instruction that combines theory and hands-on practice in the welding lab environment.
Ensure student competency and safe practice in various industrial welding processes.
Required Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with extensive hands-on expertise in the welding industry.
Extensive experience in one or more of the following welding disciplines:
TIG (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)
MIG (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
Industrial MIG
Shielded Metal Arc (Stick) Welding
Robotic Welding
Five years of professional welding experience is required (in lieu of formal certification).
Preferred Qualifications:
Possession of a formal Welding Certificate.
Current AWS (American Welding Society) Certification is highly desirable.
