About This Position

Scope:

The Human Resource Generalist aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at their assigned business location(s). The Human Resource Generalist will assist in ensuring the AdvancedPCB philosophy is consistently reinforced by holding all staff accountable through positive reinforcement of policies and procedures.

Essential Job Function:

  • May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource program including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Coordinate open enrollment, changes, and training for employee benefit programs.
  • Including new hire eligibility, enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Review, research and resolve all benefit discrepancy issues.
  • Process required documents to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Employee notification of overage dependent coverage and corrective action related to employee benefit deductions in a timely manner.
  • Assists the Corporate Recruiter with recruitment and interview process as requested.
  • On-boarding and Off-boarding personnel per documented process.
  • Assist with payroll processing as requested by the Payroll Specialist.
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions in a timely manner.
  • Track and manage employee documents.
  • Produce and submit reports as requested.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish Strongly Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field of study Preferred
  • Five+ years of progressive work experience supporting a comprehensive understanding of business practice
  • Three years’ experience working with Paylocity system.
  • Three years’ experience working in a multi-division corporate environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related HR software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Long periods of time at a desk working at a computer.
  • Walking on uneven surfaces, step up and down.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities

This position requires access to controlled technical data and/or participation in activities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
