About This Position
The Senior Living Advisor/Marketing is the relationship and sales leader responsible for driving occupancy through effective inquiry handling, tours, outreach, and move-ins. This role builds trusting relationships with prospective residents, families, and referral partners, guiding them through the decision-making process and clearly communicating the value of The Ridge at Meadow Brook.
Key responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries (phone, email, web, walk-ins), building rapport and qualifying prospects based on care needs, budget, and timing.
Conduct engaging, personalized community tours and presentations that highlight features, services, care capabilities, and lifestyle in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry through deposit and move-in, including follow-up calls, home visits (if applicable), and coordination with the care team.
Maintain and update the CRM with accurate, timely notes, next steps, and pipeline management; track leads, conversions, and occupancy metrics.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources (hospitals, rehabs, physician offices, home health, hospice, senior centers, etc.).
Plan, coordinate, and participate in internal and external marketing events, open houses, professional networking, and community outreach.
Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team on sales strategies, monthly marketing plans, and community branding initiatives.
Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and operations team to ensure a smooth, positive move-in experience and successful transition for new residents and families.
Understand and be able to clearly explain pricing, levels of care, promotions, and financial options in a transparent, ethical manner.
Monitor the competitive landscape, including touring competitors, tracking market trends, and sharing insights with the leadership team.
Qualifications
Previous experience in senior living sales, healthcare sales, hospitality sales, apartment leasing, or related relationship-based sales role strongly preferred.
Passion for serving seniors and families, with the ability to listen, empathize, and guide them through emotional and complex decisions.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both in person and over the phone.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and occupancy goals.
Comfortable working with a CRM, email, and basic office software.
Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously.
Availability for some evening and weekend events/tours based on prospect and community needs.
