Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
• Harness Assembly: Fabricate and test durable, high-quality wiring harnesses to meet Van’s Aircraft standards.
• Documentation and Standards: Interpret technical documents, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions to create flawless assemblies.
• Electrical Testing: Perform precise electrical checkouts using custom test setups and off-the-shelf equipment.
• Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with production engineers to develop, document, and implement new processes for harness assembly.
• Tool Proficiency: Use mechanical tools, precision instruments, and hand tools to fabricate wire harnesses with accuracy and efficiency.
• Quality Control: Ensure compliance with industry standards for all harness assemblies and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing and assembly methods.
• Inventory Management: Assist with tracking and managing materials and components to ensure production deadlines are met.
• Problem-Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with wire harnesses, making adjustments to improve overall functionality and safety.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
What You Bring to the Team:
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years of experience fabricating or inspecting wire harnesses
• A collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork.
• Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Preferred Qualifications That Will Make You Shine:
• Experience in wiring harness fabrication or inspection.
• Background in aviation or other high-reliability environments.

• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
