Manager of People Operations

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager of People Operations in United States.

This is a high-impact leadership role at the center of a globally distributed People function, responsible for shaping how HR operations scale across multiple countries. You will design and optimize end-to-end People Operations systems spanning onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and compliance in a fast-growing technology environment. The role blends strategic operations leadership with hands-on systems thinking, with a strong emphasis on automation and AI-driven workflows. You will help redefine how modern HR teams operate by embedding agentic processes and scalable infrastructure into daily execution. Working closely with senior People leadership, you will ensure operational excellence across HR, Talent Acquisition, and benefits administration. This is an ideal opportunity for a forward-thinking operator who thrives in high-growth, innovation-driven environments and is passionate about building the future of HR through AI.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end People Operations ecosystem, including onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle workflows, and HR process automation.
  • Design and implement AI-driven agents to execute operational tasks such as offer generation, onboarding coordination, interview scheduling, and employee support queries.
  • Build scalable, AI-enabled HR systems that reduce manual workload and increase operational efficiency across multiple geographies.
  • Oversee HR compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring regulatory requirements are tracked, monitored, and proactively managed through automated workflows.
  • Develop real-time People analytics, dashboards, and reporting to support leadership decision-making across HR and Talent Acquisition functions.
  • Manage HRIS, ATS, and integrated People technology systems, prioritizing automation, integration capability, and scalability.
  • Support Talent Acquisition operations including forecasting, funnel analytics, and data integrity improvements.
  • Own benefits administration processes and vendor relationships, optimizing enrollment, compliance, and utilization tracking.
  • Drive cross-functional operational alignment with Finance, Legal, and IT through streamlined, AI-supported workflows.
  • Establish documentation and knowledge systems designed for both human and AI agent execution.
  • Promote AI fluency across the People team and help embed an automation-first mindset across all operations.
  • Ensure responsible and ethical use of AI in People Operations, including governance over sensitive employee and candidate data.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or related HR leadership roles, ideally within high-growth SaaS or technology environments.
  • Proven experience managing or leading operational HR functions in a multi-country or globally distributed organization.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AI tools, automation platforms, and agent-based workflows, with demonstrated ability to build and deploy functional AI agents.
  • Advanced technical fluency with HR systems, integrations, APIs, and automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of HR compliance frameworks, particularly in the United States, with exposure to multi-jurisdiction environments preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms, data management, and operational reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build dashboards, interpret workforce data, and translate insights into action.
  • Demonstrated ability to redesign and scale operational processes with a strong bias toward automation and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High integrity, strong judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
  • A systems-thinking mindset with the ability to connect People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits into a unified operating model.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI-driven transformation in HR and a proactive approach to innovation.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package including a base salary range of 120,000 to 130,000 USD.
  • Potential eligibility for bonus structures and equity participation depending on role and performance.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision for employees and eligible dependents.
  • Retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Flexible paid time off policy with encouraged annual usage.
  • Paid parental leave for eligible employees.
  • Remote-first work environment with home office support stipend.
  • Global exposure working with distributed teams across multiple regions.
  • Professional development and learning support to encourage continuous growth.
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and feedback-driven culture focused on performance and development.
