JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• Respond to inquiries and requests from quality and manufacturing teams
• Gather technical details from manufacturing and quality teams in order to collaborate with off-site product design team
• Coordinate fitups for new product designs

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborating with design and manufacturing, and quality teams to trouble shoot, identify root cause, and propose solution for safety, quality, and velocity issues on current products
• Coordinate and complete on-engine fitups for new component designs
• Provide design for manufacturing support prototype and pilot builds for new product introduction programs
• Gather and document symptoms and details of build issues for off-site product design team

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 0-2
• Degree requirement: engineering degree; open to master's degree. Open to associates degree with 3+ years of experience.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Technical engineering capability & mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of 3D modeling
• Capability of reading and interpreting prints and technical specifications
