Compassionate Veterinarian at All About Pets – Citrus Heights, California

All About Pets is seeking a passionate and skilled Full-Time Veterinarian to join our dedicated team in Citrus Heights, CA. We are a small animal clinic, committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to companion animals.
In this role, you will:

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose and treat various medical and surgical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Perform a variety of procedures, including vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and dentistry.
• Provide client education and counseling on preventative care, pet health, and responsible ownership.
• Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other team members to ensure optimal patient care.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
• Valid state veterinary license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in small animal practice (preferred).
• Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and explain complex medical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine love for animals and their well-being.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
