RN Applicant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Willis-Knighton Bossier is seeking an RN for our 10 bed ICU unit, which is both medical and surgical. The typical diagnosis includes: respiratory failure, sepsis, multi-system organ failure, renal failure, and post-op surgery, just to name a few. The job responsibilities include but not limited to: frequent hemodynamic monitoring, titration of vasopressors or vasodilators, maintaining ventilators, and maintaining invasive lines. The patient to nurse ratio is typically 2:1 and teamwork is highly encouraged. This position requires working every other weekend and some holidays. ACLS is preferred and is available at our Training and Development Center at no cost to employees. A hospital wide orientation, which is required upon hire and orientation to the unit, will be provided with a preceptor according to your experience. Apply here and come join our exciting team.
