Bakery cashier and Food Prep Person parttime at P & B Bakery LLC – Scottsboro, Alabama

Introduction:

Seeking experienced Cashier food prep individual. Must be friendly, detailed oriented and dependable and able to provide excellent service to our customers in a very fast pace demanding enviroment. The Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, filling bakery orders over the phone and walk in customers , multitasking and providing a highest level of customer service. Keeping a clean and organized dining area for customers and work area .Help with daily and weekly prepping of food and dishes and clean up as needed. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a very fast-paced environment. Candidate will be able to work in a team environment and also work alone on certain tasks, self motivated and very detail oriented with ability to follow detailed instructions, handle constructive criticism and feedback.

Responsibilities:

Process transactions, including handling cash and credit card payments accurately
Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and assisting customers with their purchases
Answering Phones and taking phone orders
Pulling and putting together customer bakery food orders
maintain a pleasant attitude even during stressful situations that arise periodically
Maintain a clean and organized customer dining area and employee work area
Prep food daily and weekly as needed
Help with dishes , floor and cleaning duties as needed
Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned and as needed


Must be have open availability Monday and Wednesday thru Saturday

Qualifications:

Must have 1 year experience as a cashier or in a customer service role
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume fast paced workload
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills,
very detail oriented
Servsafe certified a Plus
