About This Position

*$5,000 Sign-on Bonus

The PSS Department is an expanding department at the New England Center for Children with a mission of providing clinical and educational services to students learning in public school districts. The job responsibilities may change depending on the needs and the goals of each individual student, school district, or client.

This position provides BCBAs with the opportunity to provide ABA-based training and consultation in public school settings with the resources and support from the NECC-central facility. Consultants are able to work with the public schools, demonstrating how behavior analytic intervention can result in lasting student progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the creation and maintenance of NECC Partner Program Classrooms, including:
  • Supervision of lead teacher/classroom coordinator and tutors/case managers
  • Oversight of clinical and educational programming for students in the classroom
  • Collaboration with families via monthly progress meetings to discuss home and school performance
  • Collaboration with general education personnel and team members to ensure the educational needs of the students are being met.
  • Providing ongoing training and consultation to Public School Districts (individual students, classroom teachers, etc.)
  • Organizing and/or presenting large-group training or workshops
  • Evaluations of students, programs, and districts
  • Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree or PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis
    • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
    • State License in ABA (depending on location of position)
    • Significant (supervised) clinical and educational experience and skills
    • Experience designing and overseeing the delivery of applied behavior analytic services
    • Experience in staff training and staff supervision
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, motivated and flexible, and have skills and interest in working with people from a variety of disciplines (parents, teachers, professionals, paraprofessionals, administrators).
    • Driver’s license or access to reliable transportation
