Your Potential Role: Denark has an opening for an experienced Project Engineer, who will provide technical support to Project Managers and Field Superintendents to ensure all related construction activities are performed within accepted practices and standards.

· Reviews drawings and specifications.

· Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.

· Provide complete quantity takeoffs, manpower analysis, and equipment requirements as required to support estimating input on complex projects.

· Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.

· Ensures subcontractors and suppliers are complying with specifications and codes.

· Documents changes made by the architect/owner and then informs the administration.

· Attends company training/seminars as required by supervisor.

· Process, check and approve all shop drawings and related submittals for each construction project.

· Assist in maintaining in-house project management databases (Procore) for engineering disciplines for each project.

· Maintain and distribute all contract drawings, addenda, specifications, Request for Proposals and Request for Information for each project.

· Handles tabs on bid day.

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

Your Education, Credentials & Skill Set:

· College degreed or two years experience if not degreed.

· Has complete understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards.

· Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
