About This Position
Laura Chenel’s Chevre, Inc. is a subsidiary of the family-owned French dairy Rians, responsible for
marketing and selling the following brands: Laura Chenel, Marin French Cheese and
St. Benoit Creamery.
We manufacture and market specialty cheese and dairy products nationally, with an aggressive
expansion strategy for dairy products in North America. At Laura Chenel’s Chevre, Inc., we leverage our

Sonoma, CA and we operate two creameries located in the heart of Sonoma and Marin counties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce requested cheese quantities as specified by the daily production plan
Ensure that the quality of the product meets or exceeds standards
Report any product/quality concerns to management
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and
any/all established processes and policies
Comprehension of basic math calculations to verify product counts
Must maintain excellent attendance
Work efficiently to minimize product loss
Maintain clean and neat work areas
Work collaboratively. Promote an environment of teamwork
Working with Production Supervisors on short and long-term department goals
Maintaining and upholding all aspects of our food safety plan, and helping others to do the
same
Follow all communicated health, safety, security, and emergency requirements
Work in a safe manner and communicate any safety hazard to a supervisor
Ensure work is produced in the most sustainable manner
Ability to calmly respond to equipment or other problems and find solutions
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
Ability to perform with a high level of professionalism
Strong listening skills and a strong attention to detail
Scheduling flexibility – to work different shifts when required and to work weekends if needed
Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience in a food production/processing facility, preferred
Communicate verbally in English and Spanish with cross-functional team members and
supervisors
Self-motivated individual
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
Extended periods of standing, squatting, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling,
turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending, and flexing the arms, legs, wrists,
hands, and fingers. – Repetitive at times
Ability to work safely in variable temperature
Ability to withstand noise produced by manufacturing machinery
Ability to lift, hold and/or carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted
