Position Details TitlePostdoctoral FellowSchoolFaculty of Arts and SciencesDepartment/AreaStem Cell and Regenerative BiologyPosition DescriptionThe Arlotta Lab invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position.The Arlotta lab at HSCRB is working to identify the cellular and molecular pathways disrupted in brain disorders such as schizophrenia and autism, by utilizing recent advances in genetics and genomics.Responsibilities:1. Conduct research in neuroscience using in vivo and in vitro models.2. Publish and present research findings in high-quality scientific journals and conferences.3. Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and students on interdisciplinary research projects.4. Contribute to the preparation of research proposals.5. Participate in teaching and mentoring activities for undergraduate and graduate students.Qualifications:
1. A Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Computer Science, or other relevant scientific discipline is required.

2. Basic understanding of molecular biology and next generation sequencing is highly preferred.

3. Familiarity with single cell data analysis is preferred, but not required.

4. Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, while making necessary connections with experts in various computational analysis groups.

5. Self-starter, highly motivated.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Excellent organization and time management skills.

8. Demonstrated record of research achievement.
