About This Position
We’re looking for an experienced diesel technician to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and heavy-duty equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This is a second shift position from 3p-11p, Monday through Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform electrical, hydraulic, air brakes, and mechanical repairs, as well as preventive maintenance
Troubleshoot issues
Determine which parts and tools are necessary for assignment
Complete shop paperwork
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Willing to go on road calls when necessary
Qualifications:
2-10 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
Must have own tools
Experience working on heavy duty Tractors, Trailers, Class A, B, C, equipment etc.
Welding experience is a plus
Aptitude in using various hand tools
Ability to follow established procedures and practices
Computer skills to scan tools and complete service requests
Communication skills
Self-motivated
Problem-solving ability
DOT Medical Card Required
Driver's License required
High school diploma or equivalent
