Janitor at Fair Share Housing Development, Inc – Mount Laurel, New Jersey

The janitor is responsible for the overall janitorial duties of the interior and exterior of the building. This position includes but is not limited to the following list of specific tasks:

· Clean common areas which includes sweeping, mopping, window cleaning and trash removal from inside and outside receptacles daily.

· Recycling and trash removal for all floors of the building.

· Clean management offices which includes vacuuming of the offices, hallways trash removal, disinfecting and mopping office bathroom and kitchen area daily.

· Clean common area bathrooms daily.

· Clean elevators, including track and cab daily.

· Sweep and mop assigned floors, including trash room daily.

· Removal of furniture left in common areas or hallways.

· Removal of furniture per assessment of bedbug contractor.

· Any other work-related tasks as requested by supervisor.

Return all maintenance equipment at the end of your shift.

· Able to follow oral and written instructions.

· Able to work effectively with a team.

· Able to work independently.

· Remain professional in all aspects of the workplace.

· Treat tenants with respect and dignity.

· Pass a pre-employment background screening.
