Housekeeper at Eastland Memorial Hospital – Eastland, Texas

Performs duties involved in cleaning and sanitizing furnishings and rooms in assigned work areas, following established policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital.

A. Experience:

1. Prior Work Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

However, on-the-job training may be given in this entry level position.

2. Technical Training: None required.

B. Duties of the position require extended periods of walking and standing, pushing and pulling heavy equipment, considerable reaching, stooping, kneeling and crouching during cleaning activities. Lifting up to 50 pounds and transporting up to 150 pounds on carts or with dollies may be required.
