OUR MISSION & PURPOSE
The mission of Work Unlimited is to provide quality residential, employment, and community living programs for people experiencing intellectual/developmental disabilities and challenging behavioral issues. Our purpose is to assist these individuals with social skills development, community connections/relationships, and finding and maintaining employment. We are committed to individualized services that enrich the lives of the clients we serve. We are also committed to the experience of our employees, who overwhelmingly report that working for us enriches them daily throughout each connection and experience with those they support. Each position fulfills our mission differently, but the common purpose among all employees helps us stay aligned and move in the right direction toward shared success.
YOUR IMPACT
• Assist clients in becoming active, wage-earning members of the workforce and provide ongoing support so they achieve success in their workplace
• Support clients at community worksites and provide role modeling and guidance in building employment-related skills
• Identify the skills and interests of clients and match them with community-based activities, volunteer work, or employment
• Advocate for full community inclusion while empowering clients to overcome barriers to employment and achieve career goals

• Patience, commitment, critical thinking skills, orientation to “team,” and a belief that “Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of tools.”
• The belief that inclusivity and support are keys to success
• The ability to advocate for others in a professional manner
