Security Engineer in Trivandrum, Kerala at Armada Systems

About the role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures
• Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and logs
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Develop automation for vulnerability analysis and management
• Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems
• Research and recommend security solutions to address identified risks
• Develop and maintain security architectures and designs
• Investigate and respond to security incidents
• Monitor and enforce compliance with security policies
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate code vulnerabilities and with the security team for sprint planning and security projects.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years experience as Security Engineer
• Expertise in application and network security
• Familiarity with GitHub for managing and reviewing code.
• Proficient in using vulnerability scanners such as Nexpose and Nessus.
• Knowledge of Python and SQL for scripting and database analysis.
• Familiarity with Azure environments is preferred.
