Our platform empowers organizations and individuals to create and offer augmented reality travel experiences to travelers worldwide.

What we’re looking for:

We're looking for a skilled and talented individual to join our team as an Android Native App Engineer in the Immersive Spatial Computing (AR/VR/XR) field. In this role, you'll have the chance to utilize your technical expertise and experience in areas like 3D development and interactive immersive applications. We're particularly interested in candidates with a strong interest or background in augmented reality immersive technologies.

We're seeking an ideal candidate who can promote collaboration within a cross-functional team. This team can include but is not limited to a UI/UX designer, software engineers, a product owner and other stakeholders. Your main goal will be to deliver top-notch technology products that are not only interactive and captivating but also of the highest quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality, performant Android applications with a focus on AR functionality
  • Implement AR features using ARCore and other relevant AR technologies, ensuring compatibility across a range of Android devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and user-friendly AR experiences
  • Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery consumption for optimal user experience
  • Integrate with backend services and APIs and third-party libraries like Geospatial to support AR content delivery and user interactions
  • Stay updated on the latest Android development trends, AR technologies, and best practices
  • Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues and implement solutions to ensure smooth operation of the application.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Passion for the AR/VR/XR space
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team consisting of a product owner, designers, software engineers, QA testers and stakeholders within an agile environment
  • Capability to independently execute assigned development tasks and provide regular status updates
  • Basic understanding of distributed/cloud technologies, including cloud services, web APIs, and Serverless Deployment concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or interest in Kotlin
  • Experience or interest in Java
