Haren Construction Company is seeking a qualified student to participate in our seasonal, field operations internship. Locations will vary based on current project details and timeframe – available options to be discussed at the time of the interview.

Field Operations Intern Description:
  • Work alongside the Project Superintendent on site to learn the management and processes of water treatment projects
  • Support Safety, Health, and Environmental compliance initiatives
  • Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals of field survey reports
  • Provide progress reports and updates to ensure plans and specifications are met
  • Work with field supervisors in the evaluations of project performance, safety regulations, and equipment maintenance
  • Assist with field measurements and layout
Requirements:
  • Must be actively enrolled in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields with the desire to pursue a career path in construction
  • Demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Must maintain a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA
