Staff Accountant at University Health System- San Antonio – San Antonio, Texas

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs accounting assignments requiring sound knowledge of accounting theory and practice including analytical functions. Responsible for accurate, efficient and timely completion of assignments and preserving the privacy of confidential matters. Maintains integrity of accounts and the viability of the general ledger system.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree is required. Two years of relevant post-degree accounting experience is required. Must have proficient PC skills in word processing and spreadsheets. Must possess analytical ability and interpersonal skills to review account activity and successfully communicate issues.
