Job Description

Position Description: Eventide Inc. is looking for a sharp, self-motivated Senior Systems Administrator to join our team!
Our Senior Systems Administrator is a mid-level position with a strong opportunity for advancement. The Senior System Administrator will oversee & provide the primary day-to-day support for end users in maintaining workstations and interacting with our networks and software.

For over 50 years, Eventide has been in the forefront of audio technology designing and building top-of-the-line audio recording and sound processing equipment. The products have evolved to span a broad multimedia industry from helping creative artists make cutting edge music to providing state-of-the-art multimedia mission critical logging systems to protect the public at large.
We are a small, highly collaborative team, and we put the person before the resume. That means both getting the job done right and being someone we want to work with every day. Maybe you are relatively new in the IT field, or maybe you have been managing networks for years. Either way, if you love technology and solving problems, we want to talk with you about coming on board.

The role is full-time. You will be on site at our offices in Little Ferry, NJ at least 90%. Salary range is $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on skill level and experience.

Job Description
Respond to escalated Helpdesk tickets and manage Helpdesk queue.
Monitor and address network alerts
Manage backups
Support our VMWARE & Proxmox virtualization enviroments
Assist with infrastructure upgrade projects
Assist and eventually lead various migration and compliancy implementation projects

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of IT general practices and methods with in-depth technical knowledge covering Active Directory, Desktop Engineering, Identity and Access Management, Device Management, Endpoint Security, and other related skills
Strong knowledge of Windows servers including baseline security policies.
Experience supporting Windows & Mac based workstations
Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra & Intune.
Experience with Ubiquity devices (Gateways, switches, wifi, cameras & access controls)
Experience with Cisco switches and ASA firewalls.
Some Linux experience
Must be able to prioritize work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsible, proactive, great interpersonal skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in these areas would be nice:
Scripting language (PowerShell, Python)
Familiarity with compliancy Models (ISO, NIST, FedRAMP, CMMC)
Familiarity with Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence, Bit Bucket etc...)
